Bouskoura Golf City  --

Bouskoura Golf City is a 20-hectare real estate development, consisting of villas and holiday apartment blocks, set around an 18 hole golf course. The site is located in the outskirts of Casablanca and on the edge of Bouskoura Forest, surrounding the site on three sides.  The forest thus provides a pleasant green backdrop to the development, predominantly made up of Aleppo pines, Eucalyptus trees and a specific ecosystem which thrives on the forest periphery, composed of grasses, dwarf palms, wild orchids and wild fennel.  The entire landscape design principles and scheme was developed to reinforce and strengthen the views towards the forest.  The majority of the plants specified are indigenous adapted to the local climate, to reduce watering requirements. The planting for each residential plot is designed to offer specific sequences and identity, whilst the planting along the footpaths and pedestrian network are planted with trees connecting with the forest vegetation, to form a thread, linking the various sequences. Large drifts of ornamental grasses underline the pathways, beds of native shrubs mark the limit between the private gardens and the public areas and flowering and ornamental multi-stemmed trees are dotted around the swimming pools and lay areas.
