Friedberg urban Park  --

Located in the Hautes-Noues district, near the town center of Villiers-sur-Marne, Friedberg Park is a true green lung in the heart of the urban fabric. Designed as a space for relaxation, leisure, and socializing, it offers a variety of uses suitable for all ages.

In the center of the park, a large open lawn welcomes free play, informal sports activities, and moments of relaxation. To the south, a generous esplanade opens onto the boulevard and the neighborhood, creating a space conducive to gatherings and socio-cultural events. To the east, a sculptural, playful, and colorful playground for children aged 3 to 15 is organized around a monumental mural created by the urban artist Crey132. To the west, a wide screen of vegetation screens the surrounding buildings and parking areas, while creating a verdant setting that includes a multi-sports court and a fitness trail.

Stormwater management is integrated into the park’s landscape design through a network of vegetated swales and a sunken garden located at the lowest point of the site. A key structural element of the project, this water retention area is planted with light, flowering, and bee-friendly vegetation, contributing to biodiversity and the quality of the landscape.
